My Story

Hey there!

Welcome to my little corner of the internet! I'm so pleased that you've found your way here. 

A little bit about me:

I'm Kerri Sharp and I am the one-woman show behind Pretty Little Pots. I've been creating with clay for over ten years. And I have been obsessed with this art form since my very first class. I don't believe that I could ever truly fall out of love with clay. 

The endless possibilities in form, texture, theme, surface decoration... among many other attributes... will continue to have me obsessing the rest of my days, I'm sure. Oh, and the glaze chemistry too!!!  LOL  yep, I'm one of those.      geeking out on numbers and Chem...

Beyond the mud and water:

I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, an auntie... but my most important relationship of all is with Jesus... to Him I owe my life. I'm not always the best example of His love for all mankind, but each time I try again, His Grace is sufficient.

I am also a passionate supporter of freedom from tyranny, ending woke culture, saving children from grooming/human trafficking/child soldiers. I'm so very thankful to be able to start using my art, my work, as a part of my voice; and to contribute tangibly to some of the causes now. It's really important for me to be able to give back. And I love that Pretty Little Pots is providing that opportunity! 

Life gets busy, time moves quickly and slowly all at the same time. Things happen outside of our control... I have been working on this l'il business of mine for a long while now. I've learned a lot. And I have so much more still to learn. But boy, oh boy, I am so good at pushing against solid walls to make things happen! Anyone else... no, just me... okay. I feel like I'm finally approaching the season to proceed. Without me struggling to make it happen!  (we shall see..  lol)  I also get very excited about EVERY idea, so who knows where that will lead!
